LTL Freight Shipping Policy
for Bulk Foam Orders

Foam Factory, Inc.'s bulk item products (Half Pallet, Full Pallet, Full Roll) are shipped via LTL (less-than-truckload) freight. When a bulk item is ordered, the entire order (including non-bulk items) will be shipped via LTL freight. Please review the following information before purchasing one of these products.

The indicated pricing of LTL Freight shipping methods applies only to delivery locations within the contiguous United States. This excludes Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and other international destinations.

For non-contiguous US/international customers, after you have placed your order, we will contact you with a quote for the additional shipping cost. Your order will be on hold until the additional shipping payment is received.

We provide three shipping options for orders shipped via LTL freight. Selection of a freight shipping method is required for bulk item orders. Please review the available methods and select the one that best matches your delivery location during checkout:

1. LTL Freight - Non-Residential - Loading Dock or Forklift Onsite Required:
   • Select this method when the shipping address is a commercial building with either a loading dock or a forklift on-site for offloading.
   • Price: $0.00
2. LTL Freight - Non-Residential - w/ Lift Gate Service:
   • Select this method when the shipping address is a commercial building that does not have either a loading dock or forklift. The delivery truck will have a lift gate for offloading.
   • Price: 5% of order total
   • Delivery is curbside. Contact Us after placing your order to arrange inside delivery. Additional charges will apply.
3. LTL Freight - Residential Delivery w/ Lift Gate Service:
   • Select this method for any shipment to a residential address.
   • Price: 10% of order total
   • Delivery is curbside. Contact Us after placing your order to arrange inside delivery. Additional charges will apply.

If your shipping address is a residential address but you choose one of the non-residential methods at the time of purchase, we will send you an invoice for the additional residential shipping fee.

Once the order has shipped, it will head to a freight terminal near your delivery location. At this time, our sales team will send you an email with the tracking information.

Transit time to your local freight terminal from Foam Factory, Inc. typically takes about 5 to 6 business days.

Once the shipment arrives at the freight terminal, the carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment. A delivery appointment is a scheduled timeslot when the truck will arrive to unload freight. This differs from standard shipping, where delivery is automatic/unscheduled.

Someone must be present to receive the shipment, inspect the contents, and sign the proof of delivery (POD) for the order. If no one is present, the carrier usually brings the freight back to the terminal, resulting in redelivery fees and delays (see: Failed Delivery and Storage Fees below).

Please inspect your items before signing the proof of delivery (POD). Failure to record damages on the POD at time of delivery may prevent Foam Factory from being able to correct the issue.

Damages to the pallet or packaging do not necessarily mean that your items have been damaged. However, if you notice damage to the product itself:

• Note the damage clearly on the POD before signing
• Refuse the delivery, if necessary

If the carrier cannot contact you or is not able to schedule a delivery appointment, the freight terminal will start incurring storage fees. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and not Foam Factory, Inc. Most carriers will attempt to contact you for 2-3 days before storage fees are applied.

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement without any fees. Cancellations made after 24 hours will incur a 25% cancellation fee based on the order total. Once production has begun, orders cannot be canceled. Orders that have already shipped are not eligible for cancellation.
