Minicel Type T offers a tougher closed cell EVA foam alternative to cross linked polyethylene products with great durability, flexibility and buoyancy, recognized under UL specifications for use in floatation devices. This foam has a smooth, almost velvety water-resistant surface, with a soft feel making it ideal for cushioning in marine equipment and small watercraft such as canoes or kayaks. Higher densities will offer increased durability and rigidity, allowing the foam to support more weight and stand up to high stress applications.
